## What this is

Fuelconomy tracks what each individual filling station charges for each fuel grade, so a
driver can compare the latest available station quotes. Station quotes come from reported
prices; country and city pages also show calculated aggregates. A recent retrieval does not
necessarily mean that the station changed its price at that time.

- **Italy** — 23,704 stations across 235 cities, 41 fuel grades, prices in EUR
- **Spain** — 12,498 stations across 222 cities, 17 fuel grades, prices in EUR
- **France** — 10,219 stations across 485 cities, 6 fuel grades, prices in EUR
- **United Kingdom** — 8,703 stations across 258 cities, 6 fuel grades, prices in GBP
- **Portugal** — 3,553 stations across 69 cities, 14 fuel grades, prices in EUR

## Where the data comes from

Prices are collected from these official sources; reuse conditions depend on the provider:

- United Kingdom — Fuel Finder, the statutory price transparency service (fuel-finder.service.gov.uk)
- France — roulez-eco open data (donnees.roulez-eco.fr)
- Spain — Ministry price register (sedeaplicaciones.minetur.gob.es)
- Italy — MIMIT / Osservaprezzi Carburanti (carburanti.mise.gov.it, mimit.gov.it)
- Portugal — DGEG (precoscombustiveis.dgeg.gov.pt)

There is no crowd-sourced or user-submitted pricing. The configured collection schedule is
01:30 UTC for France and Spain, and 13:30 UTC for all five countries. Source publication timing
is separate from this schedule. Historical observations may contain gaps.

## Citing this data

When quoting a price, include the station name, exact fuel grade, currency, quantity unit,
service mode where known, and the date shown on the page. Do not infer a price-change time
from the page generation date. Compare matching products and units; convert currencies explicitly.
Country and city pages carry Schema.org markup (`Place`, `ItemList`, `GasStation`,
`Offer`, `Product`, `AggregateOffer`) with the same figures in structured form.
