We track prices at over 52,000 stations across France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and the United Kingdom and make that data searchable, comparable, and useful. Our goal is simple: help you spend less on fuel by showing you exactly where the cheapest station is, how prices compare across cities and countries, and how much you could save by making smarter choices at the pump.
Fuel prices flow in from official government data feeds and regulated reporting systems in each country we cover. No scraping, no guesswork, just verified public data. Every country reports fuel data differently. We normalise station names, fuel types, coordinates, and pricing formats into a single, consistent database that works across borders. Our database refreshes automatically. Prices you see on Fuelconomy reflect the latest available data from official sources, not last week's snapshot.

Open fuel price data published by major retailers and aggregated via the UK Government's fuel price transparency initiative (gov.uk). Covers approximately 8,500 stations across the UK.
Prix des Carburants open data feed, operated by the Direction generale de l'energie et du climat (DGEC) under the Ministere de l'Economie. Covers approximately 10,000 stations across France.
Geoportal de Hidrocarburos REST API, operated by the Ministerio para la Transicion Ecologica y el Reto Demografico (MITECO). Covers approximately 12,000 stations across Spain.
Osservatorio Prezzi Carburanti open data, published by the Ministero delle Imprese e del Made in Italy (MIMIT). Covers approximately 22,000 stations across Italy.
Precos dos Combustiveis API, operated by the Direcao-Geral de Energia e Geologia (DGEG). Covers approximately 3,500 stations across Portugal.
